Tell Congress: Put Families Before Billionaires

Families across the country are struggling to keep up with the cost of healthcare, prescription drugs, groceries, and other essentials. Yet Congress passed Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” last year that delivers massive tax breaks to large corporations and the wealthiest households while cutting programs millions of people depend on.

We're already seeing the consequences. In Nebraska, one of the first states to implement the law's new Medicaid restrictions, people have reported delays in cancer treatment after losing coverage, and parents are struggling to navigate burdensome requirements just to keep their families insured. These are the real-world costs of political choices that prioritize tax breaks for the super-rich over support for everyday people.

Congress needs to hear that working families should come first. Send a message today urging your elected officials to make the ultra-rich and large corporations pay their fair share in taxes, invest in essential services, and put working families first.

Message to Congress

I urge you to support policies that make the ultra-rich and large corporations pay their fair share in taxes so we can invest in the things communities need, like healthcare, food assistance, caregiving, and other essential services.

Families in our communities are already struggling to afford basic necessities and should not be asked to pay the price for policies that benefit those who need help the least.

Please put working families first, protect essential services, and support a tax system that requires the ultra-rich to pay their fair share.
