U.S. arms sales to Israel are fueling the crisis in Gaza. Israel is using U.S. weapons in attacks that violate international humanitarian law and have killed thousands of children, aid workers, and journalists; destroyed schools, hospitals, vital infrastructure for clean water; obstructed aid, and displaced nearly two million Palestinians in Gaza, where nowhere is safe. Sign the petition to urge Congress to stop arming Israel now. We need bold action to save lives in Gaza before there are none left to save.
As an Oxfam supporter, I urge U.S. lawmakers to stop arming Israel to avoid aiding further killing of children, civilians, aid workers, and journalists in Gaza. Palestinians are trapped in a cycle of hope and heartbreak, waiting for assistance and ceasefires, only to wake up to worsening conditions. By arming Israel with weapons and ammunition, the U.S. is exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
I urge lawmakers to stop arms sales to Israel and take concrete steps to end the siege. I also join Oxfam in continuing to demand a permanent ceasefire, secure the release of all remaining hostages, and allow unimpeded access to lifesaving aid for civilians who need help now.
